How To Be Irresistible and Irreplaceable

For many years I've been doing something that has been so natural that I had no idea it was a "marketing strategy". I think of it more as a spiritual strategy that has been working like magic to attract and retrain clients.

Did you know that if you want to attract new clients you have to offer value-added-education-information for free, free, free and around the third or fourth touch your prospective client turns into a buyer. At which point it becomes fee - you get a paying customer.

It makes sense to give people "tasters" of how you work and what your services include to provide social proof, visibility and credibility. But what I've also noticed is if you want a long lasting relationship with your clients that will leave you irresistible and irreplaceable you not only have to give them educational value and solve their problems, you also have to give them the authentic you - from the start.

What do I mean by this? Last week I was watching American Idol and the judges kept saying "You need to bring all of you. Don't hold back yo. Dig inside and bring it out dog." The judges wanted the performers to claim their own internal passion and be as big as they felt called. They wanted them to connect on an energetic level with the audience. The reason? This is what makes you powerful and irresistible. It is energy that speaks to us. People can sense the essence of your spirit - whether they realize it or not.

And this is what your clients are really hiring you for. They want an energetic match. They are looking for a solution to their problem and they are looking for the "right" connection. Haven't you ever said "She was really great but I didn't love her?" Or "It was a great session but I wouldn't go back."

There are hundreds of RMT's, acupuncturists, chiropractors, life coaches, etc. The thing that is guaranteed to set you apart from your colleagues is who you be, not what you necessarily do.

I charged way more for my services as a massage therapist and my clients still kept coming back. Some of my clients left and then they came back again after "cheating" on me. Why? They said it was because they felt deeply taken care of. They appreciated that I was present with them. They appreciated that I could listen and hold the space for them to chat their heart out or just be quiet. They knew that they would leave having had their needs met and on a deeper level there was a connection.

So think about this, when you give for free, free, free and at the point where you are charging a fee - offer all of your unique personality, heart, soul, passion, boundaries, honest client communication, and ______________ (add your strengths and traits here). This will make you hopelessly client attractive for life because your state of being always precedes the state of doing.

And just so you know, it doesn't mean you allow your clients to walk all over you. Actually, it's the opposite. Be as clear as ice about your expectations of them and what it is going to take for them to get results. Be straight with them about your policies regarding being late and no shows. Hold high standards for your clients and keep them accountable. When you show up 100% as who you are and stand firm in ALL of your personality - and that includes your boundaries, your clients will take you and what you're doing with them more seriously. They will come to realize how valuable the investment is that they are making, by working with you. Your personhood will vibrate so much that your clients will leave feeling loved and as though they had a more meaningful experience.

I've been to dozens of different therapists, massage therapists, coaches, yoga instructor's and even hairdressers who were simply there performing - but there was no love. No personality. The one's I remain loyal to are the ones who bring it. They are on time, they take extra care with me, and they really "bring" themselves to what they are doing.

Inside people are begging for you to be all of you. Can you imagine how that would make you a healing magnet? And, this will make you completely irresistible and irreplaceable. Watch how much your heart beams in return - you get to enjoy doing divine work, getting paid what you are truly worth and bring all of you. Nothing beats that!

Not only do you need to be giving your prospects educational based marketing but remember to blend in your personality and inhabit the space of that which is already you. Be on your game with your clients and while you're networking. When you inhabit the space of all of you, you will manifest yourself as someone who has got edge, charisma and your peeps will feel your spirit. Clients will start coming out the blue to work with you and you will be referred to like crazy.

How do you "bring all of you"? In the morning prepare yourself internally for your day. Take some time to be quiet and go inside. Imagine a beam of light radiating into the top of your head. Come to realize that there is no other person like you. Dwell deep within yourself and inhabit the space of your own power. Drink that awesome thought in. Breathe into that energy and grow closer to your own energy. Create an emotional environment of empowerment for yourself by invoking the light within yourself (if negative thoughts come up brush them off and connect back to your light). Remember your greatness. Own this. Bring this part of you with you all day. And dare to share it!

Has anyone toyed with including "An Irresistible Offer" on their Business Cards? e.g. Free one hour consultation on your website to identify ways to increase your Lead generation by 40%"
