Top 10 Website Must-Have's for Holistic Practitioners

In order to attract and heal more people you have to have a place where your prospects can learn about you because most people will look you up online before picking up the phone to call your office and book in with you.

So let's explore what the vast majority of websites are lacking and what makes a website effective. Since reviewing a ton of websites for practitioners lately, I've been making a list of many of the must have elements that are considered critical if you want your practice-building journey to be easier and more prosperous.

Here are the top 10 elements your heart centered website must have:

1. A set of "pull" marketing questions about your ideal client's problems. Your clients ought to say "yes" to all of them. When reading these your visitor will feel as though you "get them" and that they have a place where they belong - which in turn will create a connection and build a "know, like and trust" factor. This will entice visitors to want to read more.

2. A compelling free opt in offer (such as an e-book, special report, CD, checklist) to collect your prospect's names and email addresses from your site. This list allows you to keep in touch on a regular basis through "e-zines" so they don't forget you. And because they are interested in your services, it's very likely that one day they are going to receive your email, feel that it's about time to get in touch and finally book that appointment.

3. A blog loaded with lots of high value, quality content that is search engine optimized.

4. A clear call-to-action at the bottom of each page and at the bottom of each blog.

5. Integration with social media sites like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

6. Video and audio - people take in information through audio, visual and reading. Video also shares your personality and energy. People love this and it really helps to distinguish you from the masses.

7. Testimonials that reflect the glowing results and benefits of your work. As you see the proof of your effectiveness, it can be easy to get shy or feel vulnerable, "Am I really that good?" Yet in humility, offering proof of what you provide to clients is a tremendous service to your client. It serves to nourish hope in their heart, and brings safety and peace of mind in hiring you.

8. A clean, easy-to-navigate layout that does not require the visitor to expend too much energy trying to decide if your services are right for them.

9. Images and design that are professional, unique, and reflective of the emotional outcome you intend for your clients.

10. A strong 'about' page that builds a case to work with you and really goes into depth about your story and your commitment to getting your clients results and benefits. This is the 2nd most visited page on average, so it's important to be thorough and really connect with your audience there.

Your website will be one of the most effective and powerful tools in bringing in business. In the process of incorporating the above ten must have elements, let yourself be wildly, beautifully, powerfully you while facing the people you want to help.

Until next week....now go heal your peeps!

Many Blessings,

Jackie
