Manifesting Reality - Changing Your Life by Changing Your Thoughts

We don't come into this life knowing what is best for us, there is no little instruction book taped to our side as we enter the world. We spend the majority of our life just playing it by ear. Sure, most of us have some help from our parents, grandparents and teachers along the way, but the real day to day living is left up to each of us and what we think is best.

What we don't realize is that's just it, it's our thoughts that are the most important aspect directing our lives.

Simply put, it is what we think about that manifests our reality. A thought is the first spark of energy, the same force from which the universe, the earth and ourselves originated. It's a scientific fact, so it shouldn't be too hard to comprehend that it is what we think about that we become and it is what we think about that we manifest around us.

If you are thinking you will never get ahead, you are stuck in a dead end job and you are destined for failure. Then yes, you will never get ahead, you are destined for failure and you will be stuck in a dead end job.

Take a look at all the successful people you know. What do you think they think about? Do you think they dwell on their debts or the difficulties of life? No, if they thought that way they would never get out of bed in the morning. These people who are successful go-getters have an abundance of energy that can only come from positive energy. Go ahead, put it to the test. Try starting your day thinking about how far you're behind in your bills and how much you hate your job and then try to get out of bed and see how much time it takes just getting ready for work. Then on another day, try the opposite. On waking, start thinking positive thoughts, don't think anything negative. Maybe take a look outside at the beauty of nature or turn on some upbeat positive feeling music and see how much more energy you have and how effortless getting ready for work is.

Now with this new energy take some time to focus on your thoughts and what you really want in life. Visualize in detail the work you want to be doing and the life you want to have. Set your intention and every day spend some time visualizing what you want in life and see it a s being real and obtainable and say to yourself that it is on it's way, everything you want in life, whether it's success, more money or better relationships, it is on it's way. Hold this thought in your mind -- consciously and subconsciously and every day go over it in your mind and within time you will become the thought and the thought will become you. It will become reality.

Another aspect of this exercise is in the realization that all things come from one source -- the Divine. You can call it God, Spirit, the Universe, it doesn't matter, what matters is the deep understanding that we are all part of this magnificent abundant life energy that has no beginning and no end -- therefore, there is no end to what you can do or acquire. The same as there is no limit to what trees can grow and what flowers can bloom -- there is no limit to what you can manifest. Your life is a growing thing, an entity to itself. And what do all living things need to grow and survive? Water, light and food.

So feed and water you life with positive thinking and shine your light on what you want to acquire and success will come to you. The result can be as big as you want it to be, don't hold back, be confident and believe in yourself. You are an amazing force of energy.

How She Does It - Interesting to see what are the most popular threads in this folder, judging by how many hits each thread gets. There must be a lot of moms out there who want to start businesses. I'm currently reading How She Does It: How Women Entrepreneurs are Changing the Rules of Business Success, by Margaret Heffernan. Some interesting statistics: Between 1997 and 2006, privately held businesses owned by women grew at 3 times the rate of all American privately owned firms, women's companies are creating jobs and growing profits at twice the rate of all firms and are responsible for more payroll than all of the Fortune 500 companies combined. This book tells the stories of a few women who have made it big...recommended reading so you know that "you can do it, too."
The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.
