Stuck In a Rut? - An Ounce of Action is Worth a Ton of Theory! - By Sean Mantack

Do you consider being stuck in a rut your most pressing problem at the moment? If you answered yes to that question then you need to change your mindset to get yourself unstuck! "People only change when the pain of their current situation becomes unbearable." Simply stated, if you are stuck in a rut and you haven't done anything to get yourself out of that rut, then it cannot be causing you enough pain. Once the situation becomes unbearable for you, that is when everything changes in an instant. I don't want you to waste any more time feeling stuck in a rut and having your greatness held hostage. I want you to break free from the chains that have kept you down and I want to see you fly like an Eagle. The only way that you are ever going to do this is if you solve your problem of being stuck in a rut. Until that problem is solved you will continue to spin your wheels and the rut will only get deeper, and the deeper it gets the harder it is to get out from. You cannot solve your problem until you actually know what you problem is. Being stuck in a rut is NOT your problem. Being stuck in a rut is a symptom of your problem. You must get to the root cause of the matter if you are to get yourself unstuck. The very best way to get to the root cause of your problem is through the power of questions. You need to ask specific questions that will illicit specific responses. Write these questions down, and then write your answers down. The best questions to ask are: who what where when how Example questions could be; Who is keeping you stuck in a rut? Who do you trust and admire that you can ask what they would do in your situation? What specific action can you take today to start getting yourself unstuck? Where can you find some help with this situation so that you don't have to feel like you are all on your own? When is the best time to take action in getting yourself unstuck? How can I make sure that I never feel stuck in a rut again? Do NOT ask “why” questions. Why questions ask for speculation. To get yourself unstuck you must only rely on facts, specific factual data. Asking yourself “why“ questions only aids in keeping you stuck in your rut. When you have gotten to the root cause of the symptoms that were keeping you stuck in a rut, you will have solved your problem and you will have gotten yourself unstuck.
