5 Easy Ways to Heat Up the Flames of Love & Passion on Valentine's Day

February 14th – Valentine’s Day – is the official love day of the year. Anyone in any type of romantic relationship must honor this day – in one way or another. Whether you are in a long-term relationship or a brand new one, the time has arrived to celebrate your relationship.

Here are 5 easy ways to heat up the flames of passion and love on Valentine’s Day and show your partner how you feel about them!

  1. Since roses are the symbol of romance and passion, start your day by giving your partner a rose(s) on Valentine's Day. You can give them a single long-stemmed rose (which I happen to think is very sexy) or a dozen long-stemmed roses – the number doesn’t really matter.

  1. Write your own personal Valentine's Day card or poem.It doesn't have to be of epic style or proportion – just something heartfelt and sincere that says, “I Love You” in your own unique way.Anyone can purchase a card on the way home from work, but a handwritten, homemade Valentine's Day card shows you put in some thought and really care. It’s a sure way to set Cupid's arrow flying in your direction!

  1. Leave a romantic voice message and/or text message for your lover so they get it first thing in the morning – while at work or at home. Who doesn't love a love message to start their day? And a little flirting never hurt anyone!

  1. Give your partner an aphrodisiac food like chocolate, in whatever their favorite form of chocolate is; i.e., chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered raisins, etc. Or maybe you might want to make an outline of a heart with you and your lover's initials inside it using M&M's.Be creative and have fun.

Chocolate is not only delectable, it contains both a sedative and stimulant. The sedative has arelaxing effect on you and lowers your inhibition, while the stimulant increases your activity level and enhances your desire for physical contact. Due to its effect on your libido (sex drive), chocolate was actually banned from some monasteries centuries ago! So for all you chocolate lovers out there – I say, bring out the chocolate!

  1. Ladies, splash on that perfume. Perfumes are made of natural ingredients such as almond, vanilla and other spices and herbs that are known to act like pheromones, the hormone that plays a vital role in sexual attraction. So by all means, ladies, use perfume to your advantage and make this Valentine’s Day a day – and night – to remember!

Whether you use one of my suggestions or one of your own, make sure to find a special way to tell your partner how much you love them this February 14th. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - When I came back to Japan in 1999 I sometimes used to ask my students if they would buy anything on the Internet and at that time most thought it was too risky. I'd encourage them to try by using well known sites such as Amazon.co.jp and also pointed out that using a credit card on a reputable site was safer than using it at a restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had that discussion or when the "tipping point" occurred in Japan. To answer your other question, I use Paypal for several reasons: 1. Brand familiarity 2. Easy to use 3. Free to withdraw 50,000yen+ to my Japanese bank account - a huge benefit (but maybe other systems also offer that...?) 4. Easy to cancel subscriptions On the down side, their transaction fees are quite costly, they are difficult to contact and when disputes arise you can sometimes lose even when you can prove via your tracking service that the disputed item was "delivered" to the customer's address!
