  10. Thanks for the infographic – all points are great advice.

  11. Jeff Bezos (#7) has a message that I really need right now – Have no regrets!

  12. Love this post! I would pick a favorite post, but I can’t. I want to repost this on my wall.

  13. I fully agree with Ray Kroc, it’s important to keep learning. If you’ve learned all that you can know about your industry, that either means you’re wrong, or the industry is going dead!

    1. It’s true. Many people have a hard time taking time out to continue learning, but it’s important to put in the effort. If nothing else it helps you stay connected.

  14. $6 is a good one, it’s important to focus all of your time, attention, and energy onto your goals.

  15. Another great post Evan!

  16. I’m really trying to get in touch with what Steve Jobs said. Everything starts out slow I guess, just keep with it!

  17. This is a wonderful infographic. Very motivating!

  18. I’m a consultant, and I definitely agree with Herb Kelleher. Ignore the critics! Some people are crushed by any negative advice, and it’s ridiculous. People who feel strong enough about their goals to stand up to the criticism, and smart enough to even see where critics might be coming from and grow from it, those are the people who succeed.

    1. I totally agree Neil! When was the last time something happened that *everyone* liked?

    2. I see a nuance in your post Neil… perhaps ignoring critics altogether isn’t the best thing to do. I was always taught in art school that criticism is an opportunity to examine your work again.

  19. Thanks for posting this, it gave me a great start to my day.

  20. All good quotes, but I think I like Oprah’s quote best :)

  21. Ingvar Kamprad has some really great advice! I’m trying to improve my time-management skills, so I’m particularly interested in #6

  22. Wow, infographics get around the web so quickly :) I found this through twitter this morning!

  23. Unfortunately, I have a lot of friends who need to read #9 – I love school and am glad for my degrees, but some people keep thinking that they need them to work in their desired field, or worse yet, can’t work until they get the degrees.

    1. true, hardly anyone works in the fields they went to school for anymore! So, as long as you know how to learn and keep a sharp eye out, you’ll be fine :)

  27. Hello,am really impressed by infographic:the blog, the quotes from great people and your encouraging words too. Thank you.

I’d like to tell all those who hate reading inspiring articles or books, that each and every person has a spirit which needs inspiration in his/her heart(this includes spitually).

    1. Thanks Caroline – I’m glad you liked it!
