Favorite-Business-Videos

Here is a list of my favorite business videos pulled from YouTube. I hope you find value in them and enjoy them as much as I do!

Intro 1: Watch Every Monday

I want you to start your week off with the right mindset.  I want to remind you to follow your passion and do what you were born to do. Whether you are just starting up or already have a growing business, do something that you can pour your heart and all your passion into.

Intro 2: Inspirational Video – Don’t Quit

I made this video for all the entrepreneurs who are having a tough time getting their businesses to what they want it to be. To where you feel you deserve to be. The core message is: Don’t Give Up. Enjoy!

#1: Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech 2005

Key Messages: Believe that things will work somehow out, follow your intuition and curiosity, trust your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path, you have to find what you love, do what you believe is great work, don’t settle, your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life, stay hungry and stay foolish.

#2: Michael Jordan “Failure” Nike Commercial

Key Messages: Success comes from failure.

#3: Tony Robbins: Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better

Key Messages: The defining factor to success is never lack of resources but resourcefulness, decisions shape destiny, there are six basic human needs that motivate our actions.

#4: Inspirational Video – The Don’t Quit Poem

Key Messages: Don’t quit, stick it out, success is failure turned inside out, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit, it’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

#5: Entrepreneurs can change the world

Key Messages: You can do anything, one individual can make a difference, all you need is a single brilliant idea, turbulence creates opportunities, seize the opportunity to create the job you always wanted.

#6: The Best Motivation Video

Key Messages: If you’ve never failed then you’ve never lived.

#7: Michael Gerber: The Four Mind-Sets of an Entrepreneur

Key Messages: Most people who start business think they are entrepreneurs but they are really tacticians – they work in their business but not on their business, the system is the problem not the person, continually improve your system and work on your business.

#8: Rachel Elnaugh, business mentor

Key Messages: Every entrepreneur goes through a dark period where you think about giving up – you can survive by asking for help, when you get it right your business can grow very quickly, great stuff can come out of adversity.

#9: Michael Dell Shares Entrepreneurial Advice

Key Messages: Look for experiments and not perfection, it’s ok to have little failures, really successful companies are formed in difficult economic times, know what you’re good at, take advantage of the resources around you, don’t try to do it all yourself.

#10: Al Pacino’s Inspirational Speech

Ok, so it’s not a business video but it’s one of my favorite motivational speeches of all time and I had to include it!

Key Messages: Fight your way through to success one inch at a time, in any fight it’s the guy who is willing to die who will win those inches

Bonus: Do Something Difficult

This is a funny addition to the list – make sure to watch all the way to the end! It’s one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a while.

Key Messages: Don’t give up!

  1. Though I have not yet seen any, when I read the titles of the videos in my mail, they seem to be great lessons which I need as an individual to improve my business skills and life in general. Thank you Evan.

  2. Hi Evan! Such inspirational videos…..I am a soft skill trainer and am sure I have found an added bonus for my students! I loved each one of these…

  3. Hi Evan,

I’ve just seen Steve Stanford’s video — very sad. I’m sorry for what happened to him and I understand exactly how he feels.

  4. This is a very inspiring article! I was once involved in a business, specifically cold room business. I failed due to a lot of reasons such as the capital, location and many others. I am indebted and seriously discouraged but this article encouraged especially the part that says, “If you’ve never failed then you’ve never lived”. Thank you for this article. I will visit again to learn more.
