Co-Pres, Happy Worker Inc.
Founded in 2002, began operations in mid-2003, first sales in 2004
Happy Worker began as an idea in 2002 to create original toys for 'big kids' - grownups that never grow up. Following the 2004 release of our first toy invention, the GeekMan Action Figure, we've introduced several more action figures and continue to grow our line of unique toys and gifts. Our toys have made over 200 media appearances and are now sold at specialty retailers in 6 countries. We also create custom toys and promotional products for companies.
Just like any other business we trade our skills and talents for money. In our case we create grown-up toys and gifts because it's what we're passionate about and it's where we've built our expertise.
Like other new companies there's more we'd like to do than time or money allow. We constantly ask ourselves what markets we should focus on and what toys/products we should develop. If we feel there's something we should be doing, we can do it well, and it has a high priority (should be done now) we investigate further until we're happy with the business case, then pull together the right people and creatively find time and money to invest in it.
Of course we're luckier than workers at other companies there aren't many better 'jobs' than creating fun toys and gifts.
For more about how we create our toys, visit http://www.happyworker.com/products/ first select a toy, then click "Making Of" from the right-hand menu. Would you like to be profiled? Click on the Get Profiled! button at the top right part of the page to contact us.
