Sergio Medrano - Growing Up

I grew up in Mexico. My extended family runs a Mercedes-Benz dealership as well as a mid-size Butane Gas distribution company. My first job was at age 12, answering phones on Saturdays. Through scholarships, I was lucky to attend commerce school in Japan and earn an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. I am also an avid traveler and focuse a lot of my energy on planning trips for myself and for others. I have lived in five countries, and visited around 50. I am fluent in five languages, including Japanese, and I am blessed with a network of friends and contacts around the world. I am a bad piano player, but I enjoy music in general.

In Canada, I have worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs, as well as for other Federal agencies in Ottawa. My area of expertise is Sponsorship and Corporate Partnership strategies. How I became an entrepreneur is another story�
