Kris Schantz - Starting The Business

As far as I know I've always been an entrepreneur. I've always been willing to invest my time and energies in the big ideas I'm passionate about, and I'm ready to take intelligent risks in exchange for a shot at success.

After a short run as partner of a web development firm (a highly successful failure) I joined two entrepreneurial technology firms, starting when each was relatively small. Each business had its share of great talent and not-so-great "challenges", and both were quite successful in financial terms. I learned from all businesses and entrepreneurs I worked with, and from these experiences I created my own goals and guidelines about what success means to me.

Through it all I've had a bad toy and game habit... I'm a fun addict, and I'm always looking for my next hit. I've been thinking up new toy ideas for quite some time, and as a hobby over the years I even developed a few to different stages. After seeing others enter the market with a few of my unrealized ideas I decided it was time to get some of my inventions out there. After a year long voyage of discovery into the toy industry we decided we were ready to give it a real go and entered the toy business full time.
